Our Story
Mountain West Dairy Services was founded in 2001 by Craig and Susan Johansen. Mountain West is based in Idaho and Montana, but service many of the western states. They are dealers for the following companies: GEA, DeLaval, Boumatic, Saveco, Wamgroup, FutureCow, AMS Galaxy, Afimilk, Anderson Negele, Mueller, FutureCow, Waikato, and more!
Craig has always enjoyed the dairy industry. He started his own dairy in Preston Idaho in 1994 and about the same time he started doing service work for local dairy service company. In 2000, Craig saw the need to expand his horizons and he began doing dairy service work in the Idaho Falls area.
In 2008, with business growing, they built two new shops and began servicing the Montana area. They started with a warehouse in Manhattan, Montana and are currently enjoying tremendous success in the area.
